CALIBRATION OF WEIGHTS

TVCS is one of the finest in-house and commercial mass metrology laboratory offering complete weight calibration services. TVCS Calibration Laboratories have the capability of providing weight calibrations from 1mg to 50 Kg. Calibration is offered for stainless steel weights, brass weights, bullions weights, carat weights, hook weights, slotted weights, cast iron weights, dumb-bell weights, dead weights and special weights.

Calibration Service

Calibration is a comparison between measurements – one of known magnitude(standard) or correctness made or set with one device and another measurement made in as similar a way as possible with a second device(Unit under test). The definition of True Value is :``a value compatible with the definition of a given particular quantity.'' At True Value Calibration Services, we redefine the true value!

Accreditation is a process in which certification of competency, authority, or credibility is presented. True Value Calibration Services (TVCS) is a calibration laboratory accredited by National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL), which is an autonomous body under the aegis of Department of Science & Technology, Government of India.

Our Scope of calibration are E1, E2, F1, F2, M1, M2 & M3 Class weights, Cast Iron Weights, Specialized weights like Slotted weights, hook weights, Micro Balances, Semi Micro Balances, Analytical Balances, Precision Balances, Bench Scales, Platform Scales and Weigh Bridges. We calibrate weights that are manufactured by Sensortron, Mettler, Sartorius, Ohaus, Troemner, Weigh India etc., Our Calibration capability is from 1mg to 50kg. Our scope also includes calibration of Micro-pipette, Pipette, Burette, Beakers, Measuring Cylinders, Conical flasks and all other volumetric glass wares. Our Calibration capability is from 10 µl to 5 Litre. We also calibrate Push Pull gauges/Force gauges up to 100 kgf

TVCS also offers calibration of Thermal and Humidity Parameters. In Thermal, we have the capability of 

-100⁰ C to 1800⁰ C. In Humidity, we have the capability from 15 % Rh to 95 % Rh. Thus we can offer calibration services for Thermocouples, RTD, Temperature Switch, Temperature Controller, Hot air oven, Deep Freezers, Environmental chambers, Autoclaves, Incubators, Humidity Chambers, Thermo hygrometers, Pyrometers, Thermometers etc.,

Apart from the Calibration activity, TVCS provides servicing of Load Cells. We service all brands like HBM, Sensortronics, Celtron, Revere, Schwing Stetter, Tedea Huntleigh, etc., and any capacities. True Value Calibration Services is an in-house calibration Laboratory for their Parent company M/s. Sensortron which has engaged in the manufacture of standard stainless steel weights, brass weights, cast iron weights, slotted weights and many special weights.

True Value Calibration Services is a calibration laboratory based in Chennai, engaged in the calibration of Mass parameters such as weights, weighing machines, Bench scales, platform scales, weighbridges, slotted weights, cast iron weights etc., and volume parameter like pipettes, burettes, conical flasks, measuring cylinders, cans, beakers and other volumetric applications. The company can calibrate weights from 1 mg - 50 kg, weighing machines from 1mg - 1 Tone and Volumetric applications from 1 L to 5 L. The company calibrates The Laboratory was started in the year 2007 and went on to get the accreditation in the year 2013.The Laboratory has been accredited by National Board of Accreditation for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL), India. The Laboratory has documented quality system as per ISO: IEC: 17025. The Laboratory also engaged in the calibration of Thermal and Humidity Parameters like Thermometers, Thermocouples, RTD's, Temperature Switch, Temperature Controller, Hot Air Oven, Deep Freezers, Autoclaves, Humidity Chambers, Thermo-Hygrometers, Radiation Pyrometers and Environmental Chambers.

The company employs highly skilled staffs who are metrologists and are trained in their specific areas of calibration from NPL New Delhi and CETE Bangalore. The Laboratory maintains master standards which are world class and the same are calibrated with traceability from NVLAP, NIST or NPL. The master weights the laboratory meets the prescribed environmental standards. The temperature maintained has a tolerance of +/- 0.2 degree C/hour and humidity maintained has a tolerance of +/- 5 % per hour and the barometric pressure is measured to 0.01 mm Hg.

The Company also provides servicing of Load cells of any brands, any capacity and any type. The company has so far provided servicing of HBM, Sensortronics, Tedea Huntleigh, Schwing Stetter etc. brands of load cells. We provide the re-gauging work and use high quality strain gauges from Vishay. The company also offers after service warranty of 6 months.
